  JACK RABELL IN CRITICAL CONDITION
"I wanted to let you know that longtime San Diego broadcast
engineer Jack Rabell is in the hospital, in the ICU, in critical
condition. He went in for a hernia operation on Saturday 5/1
and, while under the knife, aspirated fluids into his lungs
causing considerable damage.
"His family is with him and Doug Herman and I are covering
his stations until he recovers. I'm sure all his many friends
would want to offer prayers for his rapid recovery."
