DTV DELAY ACT PASSES U.S. SENATE
The U.S. Senate has approved by unanimous consent a bill
to delay the DTV switch date to June 12. As part of the package,
the Senate bill reportedly allows broadcasters to make the switch
before the new June 12 deadline. The matter now goes to the
House, so nothing is final yet.
