  DTV DATE-CHANGE FAILS
In a surprising turn of events, the House today failed
to pass the DTV date-change bill, putting the move of the DTV
transition date in doubt after all of the momentum seemed to
be moving toward a four-month delay to June 12.
Therefore, February 17 remains the official transition date.
Only 61% of the House members voted in favor of the date
change whereas a 2/3 majority (66.66%) was required for passage.
