   NADER HAGHIGHAT, NEW FCC DISTRICT DIRECTOR, LOS ANGELES
   CGC welcomes Nader Haghighat as the new District Director
of the FCC Enforcement Bureau's Los Angeles Office (he has
actually been serving as DD since January 1, 2009).
   Mr. Haghighat comes from the private sector with over
10 years experience in the telecom industry.  In addition, he
has taught telecommunication courses in the Electrical Engineering
& Computer Science Department of the University of California at
San Diego (UCSD) for the past 9 years.  He has a degree in EE and
in CSc (Computer Science).

  SAN DIEGO DTV SWITCH PLANS PUBLISHED
  San Diego SBE Chapter 36 has published the DTV switch plans
for its region.  While the stations will pretty much turn off
their analog transmitters according to the table in yesterday's
CGC Communicator, there is one big surprise and some additional
information, so don't miss this report:

  FINAL DTV SWITCH PLANS FOR OTHER SO. CAL. COUNTIES NEEDED
  The CGC Communicator is looking for final analog-off
dates for southern California counties other than San Diego.
