at 1 PM on June 12. KCBS-DT will be on Channel 43 and KCAL-DT

FIRST ADJACENT HD RADIO SIDEBANDS IMPACT KSGN(FM)
KSGN listener Bryce Foster comments on the negative impact
that KCRW's HD Radio (IBOC) operation is having on KSGN's analog
coverage. KSGN operates on 89.7 MHz and KCRW is on 89.9 MHz,
making this a first adjacent channel interference situation.
KCRW is known for running a competent technical shop, so
these comments are not intended to reflect negatively on KCRW's
operation. Rather, as one reader who has reviewed Bryce's
comments put it, "This is good "real world" evidence that IBOC
is technically unsound in terms of spectral interference matters.
To most of us, what is described here is no surprise whatsoever."
