CalTrans have informed us that the highway [Angeles Crest
Highway] will be closed from La Canada to Big Pines Monday
through Friday this week.
Red Box to Mt. Wilson is clear.
The Fire Station to the top of Mt. Lukens was in good
shape yesterday (the other 3 access roads to Mt. Lukens are
all impassable).
When the highway opens, access to Mt. Wilson/
Mt. Disappointment/Mt. Lukens could resume.
Please contact CalTrans for further information.

[Editor's note: If Graham is referring to Big Pines
right outside of Wrightwood, this represents a major road
closure preventing access to Red Box Road and thus to
  Mt. Wilson.]
